- Each delivery begins with a complete check of the yacht and her equipment. I assess the capacity of the yacht to undertake the contemplated navigation and, if necessary, I proceed -with your approval- to the necessary upgrades.
- Your yacht need to be insured for the type of navigation/crossing considered, including the case in which you are not on-board and you entrust the yacht to a third person. As a precaution for both of us, you will ask to your insurance company a document attesting boat and crew are normally covered when Frederic Augendre – RYA Yachtmaster Ocean – is in charge.
- I draft the passage planning taking in account the weather forecasts, anticipating alternative routes and fall-back solutions. This plan is communicated to you and you are informed throughout the passage/the delivery of any adjustment.
- You are able to follow in real time the advancement or your yacht thanks to a Spot tag.
- Upon my arrival, I take the necessary time to ensure a full cleaning of the yacht. I deliver your yacht in working order and I draft a technical report enhancing, where appropriate, the improvements or changes I suggest.
- Obviously you may want to be on-board during the delivery and I have always a great pleasure to sail with an owner who likes his yacht.
